JADE HÆREM AKSNES
Jade (b. 1987) is from Norway, and graduated in 2014 from the American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles with an MFA in Directing. Prior to this she completed her studies in Norway with a BA in Film and TV Production, specializing in Directing, and an MA in Film Analysis.
Jade has written and directed several short films that have been officially selected by over 60 international film festivals worldwide, winning numerous awards and prizes including “Best Short Film”, “Best Director” and “Best Screenplay”. Her short PUSHING NIGHT AWAY, which was funded by the Norwegian Film Institute and the Western Norway Film Center, recently won the award for “Best International Film” at the Academy Award-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival in Los Angeles. Amongst Jade’s previous films is her short ENGLESPILL, which screened at 11 international film festivals, won an audience award, and was broadcast on Norwegian national television.
Based on her film production, Jade was awarded the Government Grant for Artists in 2017 and 2015, and she is currently working on developing her first feature film.

JULIAN HÆREM AKSNES
Julian Hærem Aksnes is a Norwegian actor who started his acting career fairly recently, but has already starred in several short films, including Time to Go (2016), The Restrictor (2016) and Pushing Night Away (2016).
He is currently studying Film and Television Production at the University of Bergen, and is also a talented musician, with skills ranging from electric guitar and drums to classical violin and opera.

BEATE ROSTIN
Beate Rostin is a Norwegian actress and singer, educated from The Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. She has been engaged at several theaters in Sweden and Norway, and has starred in multiple film-and TV-productions, including Beatles (2014) and Varg Veum: Woman in The Fridge (2008).
Beate also has a teaching degree from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and teaches kids and youths from 7 to 18 years in theatre and song at the Culture School in Bergen and Bergen National Opera.
